Mine came from my 03 Cobra, when it put down 666 Horsepower on pump gas, I just came up with the name "EVILNSS"

Mine is kinda obvious too. Stick is my nick name and the ski i ride is the 255 rxpx. Kinda lame i know but it was the best that i could think of at the time.

My is a nick name I earned as a freshman on the varsity baseball team..
I was facing a hard throwing senior (90+ UT recruit) 1st game of the season and I was leading off the first game of my highschool career. I watched and I literally didn't bat an eye nor take a breathe at 2 perfect strikes..Coach calls time pulls me aside makes sure im still breathing and not going into shock when my team mates ask whats my favorite cartoon and the first word out of my mouth was Thunderkats.. and from that moment on I would hear " Thunder! Thunder! Thunder! Thundercats, Ho! and I crack of laughing end up getting a texas league single and the name stuck..
13 is the number stitches it took to sew my chin back up, and my fave number ..

I had to come up with an ebay name and i just tought of " three boys " in spanish, or a spin off of the Spanish rap group " tres delinquentes " so I came up with an ebay name no one had which was " tresvatos", but other than that no significance whatsoever... In spanish means three boys, or three guys...

D 5UPE comes from my initials David Swinhoe and the car Club Show number plates we have on the Toyota Supra's me and my Wife owned. Her plate was B5UPE.

Been around a long time.....Raced BMX as a kid and a track announcer commented I raced "with surgical precision" and coined the nickname "drno"-with the "no" being my initials. As age took over and so did gravity I began racing streetluge and gravity bikes- thus the "gravity" part. Gave up racing but still ride quite a bit.....guess it will take a while to get over the need for speed!

Good thread....

Cool thread. I like to see how people came up with their username.

Like some of the others, I just had to throw something together for the forum's sign in page.

The first part is obvious, Seadoo. It's my number one toy and my fav to work on, the Rotax engine is one of the oldest engines used today.

The second part of my name, "snipe" comes from a nick name that engineers earn when they become qualified to run a turbine driven plant. The name, Seadoosnipe for me means, "seadoo-mechanic".........pretty simple.

hmm, I honestly can't remember where my username came from. I ain't big and my name ain't Jake. Wife's cat's name is Jake but he's smaller than I am, so that can't be it.
Speaking of the cat, everytime I want to use the computer I have to wrestle the keyboard from him becuase he's always surfing for kittie porn. Then he crawls up on my lap and humps my leg for an hour.
One time I had to go to the doctor and explain how my leg got so scratched up. That was more embarrasing than the time I had to go to the doctor after I tried out my new sander. I'll never buy stuff made in China again becuase they always have words spelled wrong. How the hell was I supposed to know the box should have said DISC Sander. I started with 36 grit so my lawyer says I can't sue becase I have no evidence to support my case. And don't even get me started on the Palm Sander, that one is still in litigation. Why can't they just call things what they really are. I got fired from a hardware store after a woman came in and wanted to see a ballcock. Well, got to go have a cigarette with the damn cat.

OK, I bought the explanation as to why you mark your fuel lines with nail polish, but you want to explain your interest in "three boys"? Please say you have 3 sons.

Remember, before you blow a gasket, I'm just messin with you

I used to download a lot of .wav files back in the 90s when mIRC was popular. I had so many .wavs they called me soundguy. The name stuck ever since!

I used to go by the name of LouStrau, which is my first name a part of my last, pretty easy to figure out, I've used it for EMail for years.

A couple of years ago, when I got my current SeaDoo a good friend of mine at work started calling me SeaDooLou, the name sorta stuck, it got abbreviated to LouDoo, but I went with the original. Last week I asked JoeZ to change my screen name form LouStrau to SeaDooLou.

Lou
