Longer story...

Used to go to school with a guy named Steve Cooper. Everyone always confused us. So when the internet came out and I wanted to use a fake email address to keep spam down, I used scooper@...etc. Completely normal average joe blow name, so I used it to my advantage.

Then I started using scooper as my REAL email address for use when I order from ebay, online catalogs, etc, so all the spam would go to the trash account that sorta SCOOPS up all the crap emails.

Then when I joined the Maverick Forum, I kept the scooper and added my zip code.

The name has stuck since, and a Google search of Scooper77515 will yield all kinds of hits. The second hit is usually my diary-webpage of the buildup of my Maverick (in avatar).

The b15 stands for the type of car I used to have 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Specv. b15 is the generation of that sentra, and philly goes way back to when I played little league baseball and we had 4 Brian's on my team. My last name is Philips so I got the the nick name Phil what then turned into Philly.

Good topic!

There has only been one person in the forum, last year, that identified what my username meant. I think more knew but just choose not to respond

Seadoo of course is my number one watercraft. Snipe, is a term used when I was in the military and referred to someone in the field of engineering. There were hole snipes (worked in the engine rooms) and their were fresh air snipes (worked topside on things like the motor whale boats and captains gigs), so the name Seadoosnipe was born.

Like Scooper, it has become a widely used name. I created it for this site but have since used it for other online activities like ebay, passwords for sites I go to k etc,............

If I did it like timmyboy, it would have to be something like "seadoosnipe2000BC"..........LOL

In 1976 (bicentinneal year) I was in my last year of high school, also joined the Navy at that time............maybe the username shold be seadoosnipe&andthelandofthe lost!..........LOL

ya know I have actually have wondered where the names snipe and scooper came from haha... mine name well I guess Im just a lameo cause my username is well my name

Everyone asks me that. It's my username on several forums and has stuck with me from my days of irresponsiblility, immaturity, and spontaneity, at least a couple of days, lol! Back in the day my buds stuck me with the nick Rico because I used to mack on anything with tits and a pretty smile. I used to club a lot, and always showed up with friends. One night I showed up at a club by myself and the bartender said "Hey Rico, where is your mix?" I just laughed but it kinda stuck with me. Not long afterwards I joined a forum and was thinking of a username and thought Rico's Mix. Probably had that username for about 6 years now. My wife asked me that same question. I gave her an alternate story. ;)

93mustang97sea..

kinda self explanatory i own a 93 mustang notchback with a crazy motor going into it soon.. and then 97 sea means my 97 seadoo spx... so the username just represents my favorite toys thats all.

Daughter's baby talk

This is also my wife's ebay username. My daughter at age 3 just kept saying Sikiguya...when asked what it meant..she answer, "Go to bed." Been using it for a username for anything.

Rexsteiner is an old wrestling name of scott rechstein. Aka scott steiner aka the genetic freak aka big poppa pump. I think I was into wrestling at the time and the steiner bros. Are from bay city. Not too far from here. So I thought I'd pick one of his unobvious name to some day make a post about it in a thread like this one.

I'm thinking about naming my boat that now though.

My user name is also a take off on my car.

During my first mid-life crisis I bought a new '98, black, Corvette convert.
Instantly noticed that no matter how old, how tired, how sore I was feeling, the second I jumped behind the wheel....it was 1964 all over again....

Because of the therapeutic qualities, I named the car, the Time Machine, license plate is a phonetic spin off...

My car - 2004 6th generation 6 speed manual Nissan Maxima with the rare "orange" Elite Package

My screen name is a nick name by my close friends that have known me forever. I've owned a custom vehicle company since 1986...Ive done some pretty radical things like hopper suspension, chopped vehicle roofs on old panel trucks for custom show use and full glass sides in custom vans. Not to mention gull wing doors, Pick up truck convertibles, tilt noses, shaved door handles ect...I get kidded all the time I should be on Monster Garage with Jessy James.

The "springer" part comes from the Harley that I've ridden for the last 10 yrs and the "Pete" comes from the mascot of my alma mater:Oklahoma State. Pistol Pete is painted on the side of my Springer. Thus springerpete.
