Universal inline fuel filter

Can this one work in place of the original 20 year old factory filter? Or should I get the factory style again?

I'd recommend going to NAPA and getting a "3032" fuel filter, it has a metal can. I've had those plastic ones get soft and the fittings bent. This is for 5/16" lines, there's also a one for 1/4" lines.

Use the stock seadoo one. THe ones shown are not a water separator/filter which is needed on a watercraft.
