Tubing Question

I want to pull my kids on a tube behind my ski. What is the best length and type of towline and the proper procedures for attaching to the jetski? Any experience or help would be appreciated.

I have the rope below and think it is OK for the tube (not skiing). You can try varying lengths to see what works best. If it is too close the wake from the ski may cause the tube to tip over a lot.

Thats a nice rope and perfect for towing.

Steve, whatever you do DO NOT RUN OVER THE ROPE!!

It will be sucked up into the intake and wrap around the shaft about 50 times in one second!
It will shut down your engine and you will have to be towed in.

I did that once and it was a BITCH to get it off the shaft. Good luck.

Yep, I offered to help a guy with a Seadoo boat that did that today but he was confident he could get it out. Came back by him 15 min later and he was still diving under the boat with the whole family watching. I hope the rest of his day was better.
