I have pulled tubes twice now and twice tubes have failed. One split near the inflation seal and the other just popped. I am inflating them to the psi prescribed by the manufacturer, am careful not to touch the ground with them, and I just don't get it. Any advice on what brands to buy or anything else to help them last?

Good year tractor tube LOL  Good luck on finding a good tube I have 2. 1 is a big birtha and the other is small walmart tube I forget the name it was their most popular one 1 year ago. I have not had any problems yet but have read where others have.

I have just a round tube made bye seadoo think i got it from walmart, but ive never had a problem and were hard on it, we were doing big spins and high speed with it, i fliped off it at 50 mph aha no problems and still like new and 2 years old....

I bought an o'brien tube with a skirt for behind the boat and it's lasted me 4 or 5 years. Been pulled behind the boat and floating the river ever since. The heavy vinyl tubes last the longest.

Tubes that last...so far

Typically any two piece tubes that have an outside nylon shell and a separate inside inflatable portion work best and are more durable. I have a single rider "Sportstuff" tube, and a two person "OBrien", which I picked up from Bass Pro near the end of the boating season. (They put them on sale up to 40% off:hurray:). So far they've lasted 3 years and going strong.
