transom leaking, can syphon bilge remove enough?

Have a couple of steady "drips" coming in from three spots at the transom.
Speedo cable, syphon bilge tubes, and steering cable.
Enough to concern me about leaving ski in the water over night while on an upcoming vacation. (two days away)
I guess a small bilge pump would be in order for over-nighters until I can get back to work on the transom
I've put down silicone for TEMPORARY MEASURE.
How deep can the water be in the bilge area before "needing to be drained" in order to avoid damage to interior?
#1 My thinking is....As long as the battery isn't in water, right?

#2 Can I add extra syphon pick ups to the present bilge system by splicing?

#3 would the extra {pickups} help during riding times to remove water in the bilge.

I haven't found any reference in my Clymers manual about the transom or the hull connection plate. I'm sure I will need new seals and o-rings, but not sure about what else is involved.

Got any exploded views?.....1998 GTX Limited

don't let water get to bottom of motor. probably sealed good but you don't wanna bet a motor on probably. why can't you drag it up on the shoreline or beach? a small automatic bilge pump-even if it is alligator clipped to batt and hose sticks out thru seat would be an idea. in fact hook it to a car battery on the dock next to the seadoo, or a battery charger, or both.

Plastic weld....

You can go to your nearest auto parts house and by a marine grade, underwater plastic that is suppose to be good for what you want to do. It comes in a plastic tube, in two parts like epoxy. You cut a small piece, knead it together and put it around, forcefully, what ever area is dripping.

While your there, get a can of brake parts cleaner. You can use it to spray down the area good, making it grease free for it to stick good.

Thanks seadoosnipe,
Sounds like thats the direction I need to go anyway.
This is really weird!
I"M NOT IN THE WATER! I've never seen anything like it before.
The inside is still leaking (bleeding is more like it) from various areas in the bilge.
I've been air drying it for two days now with blowers, in every conceivable angle, ski nose up and down. And there's still water bleeding from the glass.
As soon as I can get it completely dry, I'll try that sealant.

BTW: Thanks again for the info on SBT motors so far it has been a very pleasant experience dealing with them. I've got the motor in and it runs great. Damn shame the hull is now leaking.
