Top speed

Im wondering what the top speed of my ski should be as Im getting diffrent answers from 2 jet ski mechanics.
Currently Im getting it up to about 54mph with just me on it.with the GF im getting 50mph, is this ok?

the jet ski is a 1999 Seadoo GTX limited in standard form.

My 2000 gtx when it was running said 63 mph on the dream-o-meter with me on it 230lbs....

what motor is in the gtx limited?

The motor is a 951 with 50 hours on it. One of the mechanics (seadoo dealer) says its should easy run 60 mph with 2 people on it but even when it had a new engine and the carbs rebuilt, still does the same top end speed?
Now im tempted to let him have a look at it.........
