Hey there, today I was out on the lake when my xp limited started to die, I limped back home. When I did a compression test I got 120 out of cylinder 2 and about 30 out of cylinder 1. popped off the head, and the cylinder is totally screwed up. The rings scored the whole side wall and the head has been scratched and nicked. How do I have the head resurfaced? and if I have my walls board out do I have to use oversized pistons?

Any machine shop/performance atv/ski shop, wil be able to fix the domes and "bore" the cylinders. Depend'n on the bore, you'll have to "machine" the RAVES back some, so they dont hit the new piston. Believe in the 951, you can go up to 2mm over
 
how much should I pay to have all this done? IM going to buy my pistons from wiesco, but I obviously need someone to boar the rave, done, and cylinder.

dont go buy'n the pistons yet, until you know what size to buy. around 50 buks for head re-surfacing, 50-75 buks per bore, and RAVES around 20 buks each...?
 
yes, also is there a way to get new sleeves? and like I said I worried about rings being in the cases..last question is how to get the head studs, or cylinder studs. I dont know what there called, but the studs that hold the head and cylinder in place.
