Sorry, I'm a car guy, got pretty good at picking up tail lights and headlights at night time. Rims, sometimes they just stick in your head!

Hey Sgoyal, that looks awesome! Keep up the good work on "my boat", lol!

Just a heads-up... check the letters on the side of your boat to make sure none are loose. Over the weekend, while wake boarding, the "D" on the port side must have been loose enough for water to get under it during a tight turn and the bottom half snapped off! Almost $80 bucks to special order a replacement logo from the dealer (can't order just one letter, guess I'll have spare letters now, lol).
Check really good, actually put your finger nails under the edges and try to move them... I thought I'd checked mine good enough by simply trying to twist (gently) each letter, but obviously I missed the fact that that "D" wasn't secure along the bottom.

And for those of you who might be wondering... NO, I didn't break the letter off by hitting or rubbing against something... Boat never came close to anything other than the water... No docks involved!

Sky-Guy... Yes I'm making sure that "Your Boat" is being taken care very well. Oh, I'll check the letters tonight and hopefully nothing is loose otherwise, I'm sure you can ship me if I needed since I'm taking care of "Your Boat" HAHA

Mods so far or happening soon

1) Swim Deck Hydro Turf - Done
2) Tinted Windows - Done
3) Already received Festoon bulbs (would put tomorrow) - replacing courtesy bulbs
4) Blue Led lights in Cupholders, Storage and Swim Deck (Most likely before labor day weekend) -- I'll let my friend does it for FREE
5) Alpine SPR M700 speakers (Only 2 right now, Just ordered) -- My friend got a business of Home Theater so he would be taking care of this for FREE of CHARGE since he rides with me LOL

Sky-Guy - The decals that came off the side should be warrantied. They also came off my boat, all of them did on both sides just from being in the water when turning and the dealer gave me two new sets of letters. They said they would put them back on and put them anywhere on the boat. So if you want you can have them above the bumper on the white part. i decided not to put them on yet because i am going to be putting a wrap on the boat and i will put them on after.

Hey, Hooks... I called SeaDoo and they said that it was a cosmetic issue and wasn't covered under warranty. They said it's not something that they would deal with anyway and I should try calling a dealer, if the dealer felt it was a mfgr. defect, then the dealer could order them for me under warranty. Unfortunately, the 'body' warranty ended in April according to the dealer I called (they looked up my serial number), but they did agree that, if the warranty was still in effect, that it would be considered a mfgr defect and would have replacd it for free. Just my luck.

My factory warranty ended in July but I got extended warranty. Would it be covered under extended warranty if I need it in threw future?

You'd have to ask a dealer to look up your serial number to find out what is covered and until when.
Seems my engine and some other areas are covered until 2013, but the body of the boat warranty has already lapsed (only one year on that area). Don't know if previous owner bought extended warranty.

Either way, cosmetic damage is not covered, it must be deemed a manufacturing defect (as in factory did not put enough adhesive), so if you do try to make a claim for this make sure you take that tackt.

Hey there!

2 questions,

1 - what are the bulbs exactly mentioned (festoon)

2 - how do you do the lights on the cupholders?

Thanks

J

2 questions,

1 - what are the bulbs exactly mentioned (festoon) - 3 Courtesy bulb (I ordered from this site)

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-...Page&Page2Disp=/specs/festoonhp_3022-xHP4.htm (3022-RHP4) -- RED color.. you can get whatever like.. (it took only 5 minutes to change it)

I've seen someone using this one..but I think you need to have soldier gun for that.

2 - how do you do the lights on the cupholders?

I am planning to get the cupholders out and it already has a hole in the middle so that's what I'd use for led and make another hole for water seepage.. there should be so many thread on this and that's how I got an idea... I'm still thinking if I should be using cupholders or make a small hole in fiberglass near by cupholder..

Thanks

Nice! I like that boat, also your trailer already came painted right? (mines came black) lol..

Black trailers are standard. The metal color trailers are galvanize and you have to pay an extra $250. They don't look as good as black but they are better for salt water as they are resistant to rust.
