Throttle Adjustment

I have a 2007 Utopia, which has a single lever throttle handle. Lately it won't stay at the same throttle-unless I keep my hand on the lever, it slowly backs off and slows down. Anyone know how this can be adjusted?

There's a drag adjustment in the handle. Take it out of the hull, and you should be able to find it.

Thanks. I had to replace the entire assembly last year for a different problem, and kept the old unit. I don't see a drag adjustment.

Sorry about that..... The Utopia was the only seadoo boat to use the conventional "single Handle" style. (I spoke and didn't think about the boat) Let me dig into it, and see what I can find.

Thanks. Mine isn't quite like that-the only screws that are on the front are for securing the front plate the the back plate, with a 3/8" gap between the two. Picture shows two gold plates with the gap, and the grey casting riveted to the inner gold plate. There is a small set screw on the grey casting-if it is long enough, it could be screwed into the shaft, which would create friction. I don't have allen wrench where I am, so I can't check it.

Thanks again for your help-I have found this forum to be very helpful in the year since I bought my SeaDoo.
