Getting ready to put engines back together. I purchased the Seadoo Shop manual to get the correct bolt torques, threadlockers plus sealants.
The Exhaust manifold instructions are confusing. The book section 04-08-10 says to use synthetic grease on bolt threads. The parts catalog says to use loctite 242 which is what im going to use. Disappointed in the repair manual. Found other areas that are misleading. I’m going to use 242 for most bolts except starter where it says 271.

The manuals have been updated over the years. I use threadlock on the exhaust manifold bolts.

Like for the cases use Threebond 1211 ir 1184.

Also follow the section for aligning the cylinders before you torque them down or the exhaust manifold will leak.

Engines being prof rebuilt . I’m just putting engine mount, starter, New Carbs, and exhaust on. I bought the engine alignment set to make sure drive shaft spline is in correct position.
