I have been drooling over the X4 since I was about 14. Finally graduated college and bought one off a marina, now that I had a job and the time to play with one

Guy said it had "ignition issues", I didn't care, I've rebuilt everything from lawnmowers to 5spd transmissions and everything in between. Nothing was "not-fixable", and I wanted all 110 of those horses to play with. My dad gave me his old 92GTS with a dual trialer, so I had a perfect spot for the 97 SPX. Got it for $500 and fixed the bad coil ground-wire for free. Was on the lake tearing it up just a day later

Loved it so much, I bought another 95XP 800, this one yellow. It ate a RAVE valve and needs a new top-end. Got it and the single trailer for $400. I agree w/ whoever quoted that they're looking for the 99spx. That's my fav jet ski of all time. Soon as I get this 95XP running, I'm going to paint the bottom black, and clear-coat it w/ Epoxy, rip off all the stickers and get a custom decal job resembling the SPX. Going to designate the SPX for the gf, and myself ride the XP.
With the twin X4's and the old GTS, I really have the perfect setup: the X4's to play and have fun, and the GTS to cruise around on and fish. The GTS has awesome fuel economy, sporting the tiny 587. It feels like riding a turtle after getting off the X4, but it lasts more than an hour at full throttle. It also has a huge hull that is stable and great to fish off of

I just bought a tiny little trolling motor to mod and stick onto the back. My gf and I love bass fishing off it; we're going camping and fishing with it this weekend.
