Update... After a helicoil tool breaking in the hole one I managed to finish up some tasks...

Seat - reupholstered
Carbs and choke cable - done

Last up is the vts boot tomorrow and jet pump oil. Maybe even the tach gauge too. .. Then it's a buff and wax and getting out this weekend for a ride

Thanks…. I had a minor surgery today so I can't do much for the next few days. Prob. remove purple mats and prep for hydroturf

Little minor surgery couldn't keep me away. Ready by tomorrow for hydro turf install. Then I'll move onto the gauge replacement since I can't lift anything for a few days to do jet pump oil.

This is one. Any ideas to fix nose guard it's deformed or just replace it? Also is there a way to replace without rivets?

Not one thing wrong with what you're doing buddy, push yourself and the sky's the limit! Refine your next build even more, I have found (through work) not to rush a job. Take your time and stick to the details.

Your lucky, I haven't been trolling our craigs lately.

Gotta check this one over with a fine tooth comb and make sure nothing is cracked or locked. But a stable ski that has the same engine as your 95. Right in Pitman which isn't far from you IIRC.

George this is the month to scan craigslist.... people want to dump their ski's before winter.... a 96GSX for 750 was on there.... found a 4 stroke for her cheap for a 4 stroke on craigslist... reliability, last forever, stable and holds its value.... IMO you enjoy the 2 stroke get her a N/a 4tec....

Scott

Thanks Scott! I'm looking daily! If I find one I will. Otherwise I just finished putting battery in and vts works, all gauges work! It cranks but I didn't try running it yet.
