Testing a coil

Is there a way to test the trigger? I have touched every contact in the connector in different combinations and I get all opens, no resistance at all.

Changed the trigger, took it for a spin today, best it's ever run...I'm confident this was the last of several issues. Boats only gone 40 since I've owned it and it took awhile to get there....now it pops up out of the hole and is at 45 in no time with a full tank and 2 adults.

Glad to hear the trigger fixed the issue.

The way you check it is simply check for resistance between the wires of each coil. (brown/yellow, white/red, Purple/Blue) Should be 1100 to 1400 ohm's.
