Terrible Event!!

Thoughts go out to the young wife and all immediate family of the terrible event near the Texas/Mexico border.Out for a day on the water and something like this happens.

I wasnt sure what you were talking about so i googled it. Appears a TX guy and his wife were jet skiing on Falcon lake which is in TX but borders mexico. they think some teen or preteen gang members shot him fatally in the head for no reason.

Very sad. His wife was evidently trying to bring him aboard her PWC after the shooting but was run down by the bad guys and had to flee.

I've been following this on the news here in Texas. Very sad incident. What has me confused is the supposed problem of finding him. I would imagine he was wearing a life jacket, so I would think it should be fairly easy to find him. I guess it's possible that those responsible could have carried him away along with his ski. There are alot of bad things happening along the border.

Innocent until proven guilty for the poor spouse IMO. I can't imagine.

Regardless, it looks like heat is being placed on Mexico, and despite threat of severe violence there and elsewhere, this search gets elevated.

Story seems fishy to me. If you watched her interview, doesnt look like she lost too much sleep over it, from her expressions.

Seems that is how a lot of these type stories end up. We have had a few locally where a spouse is killed and then the weird story turnsout to be sooo much more.

Even if there is a sordid story on the wife, many are suggesting that neither the Mexican nor American authorities are willing to go into the cartel controlled part of this lake. Incredible. It's that bad.

One guy suggested flying in some Apaches ahead of infantry (or would that be Navy and Coast Guard?).
