Two thermistors and one two channel temperature meter.

Opened a 1/2" copper pipe to make two thermistor mounting brackets. I put the on the RAVE screws.

The buttons don't fit. I chopped it off and relocated the buttons with epoxy.

I removed my old voltage meter to put this meter on.

Some test data to share:

Today is the nice day, went out for family boating. Kids got a youth kayak, and they loved it!

Water temperature: 21C
Air temperature: 28C

Start the boat, in less than 1 minute PTO side went to 42C, MAG went to 40C. And climbed up about 5C, when driving through no wake zone.

Cruising at 5500RPM, PTO stayed at 60C and MAG stayed at 58C.

Cruising at 6000RPM, PTO 62C, MAG 60C

When slowing down the temperature followed. I thought because of the residue heat the temperature would bump up a little.

After towed the boat home, the temperature was still 45C. Opened the hood, then slowly dropped to 26C.

So far I am happy with the set up and gained first set of reference measurements.

Brought both boat and ski out today they both have the NTC monitoring at the same location. Boat with 951 engine still topped at 62C. But the ski with 787 topped at 85C.
Does 787 run hotter than 951?
