tachs not working

Let me start by saying that i am new to this.My 94 speedster has two tachs and neither work.The boat runs great and I bought it 2 months ago i've had it out 3 times on the water and it is awesome but i would like to fix this any help is greatly appreciated .

Start with making sure there is power to the gauges. Check all the fuses.

Then... make sure the wires are clean and tight going back to the engine.


If you see any moisture behind the gauge "glass"... then there is a good chance that they could have gone bad.

I checked and i do have power going to the tachs voltage increases when i rev motors but needles do not move

If water entered the gauges at some point in time, the movement inside could be corroded.
