symptoms for cracked rave valve

What symptoms will a cracked rave valve (section where the o'ring sits on the bottom of rave valve stem) result in?

anything cracked, aint good...maybe its pop-metal flaw, look'n like crack, but if crack, then i'd replace it, once it breaks,..there she goes onto the piston...
