Hey guys,
My first question on here as I am fully stumped. A little history a 1994 GTX with a 587 engine. Just got the engine back from a rebuild and just got the carb back from rebuild also. No fuel is flowing thru the carb. Now the weird thing is I would think that ok bad rebuild so I swapped off of a running engine so I know the carb is good. Seems like the pulse line is working fine and the engine will run if you pour some gas thru the carb. Do y'all think it's rotary valve or some kind of timing? I'm at a loss for any new ideas. Thanks in advance for your help!

your rebuild engine works if you manually poor gas into the carb?
and you know your pulse is good?

wouldn't that mean its the carb, fuel lines, selector or filter?

I'm not 100% on the pulse. It does seem to be moving air back and forth. Weird thing is I pulled a working carb off a same model engine that works but no fuel moving thru the carb on this engine.

I'm fairly certain you are the second time this week. I guess that is the cost of replacing the fuel, return and vent lines with all the same diameter hose.

Don't feel bad it has happened to the best of us. Just be glad it was something simple and now you will check that first next time [emoji106].
