I have a 2004 Sportser 4-Tec. We live in Florida but spend our summers in Minnesota. The last 3 years I have a huge problem when we return to get the boat to run. I put stabilizer in the gas but that does not seem to help. This year the boat will start and run real ruff for less than a minute stop and the fail to start. If I try again the next day it will do the same thing. I put 15 gallons of fresh gas in the tank along with some injector cleaner. My question is how do I "pickle" my boat for 6 months and be able to use it when I get back. I guess I will have to pull the fuel pump now and see if the filter is blocked. Any idea's would be appreciated.

Welcome to the seadoo forum Left snow. The injector cleaner is a waste of money. Did you change the plugs too after adding clean fuel? If you going away for a couple months in the summer spray the engine and jet pump with wd-40 to coat and protect it, then leave the engine deck lid open to vent, add stabilizer to the fuel after you fill the tank so condensation will not form in the fuel tank. This is different than being in a cold climate as condensation will form in a empty space from temperature changes above freezing. When you return, remove the battery and give it a full charge, change the plugs and fire it up. That should do it.

You should add your seaadoo information to you avatar so as not to be BANNED as a spammer.

When i store mine i try and have the tank as empty or close to it as i can then fill it back up at the start of the season. Other things id check would be the wiring pull the connection and make sure there dry and free of corrosion, also check the plugs make sure there clean and gaps are right or just replace them cause somethime they may look ok but there junk.
