If somebody could print these as the proper size decals, i bet you could sell a bunch. I need a set too, but i also need a couple others like the fuel can looking one.
I traded email messages with Carling, manufacturer of the switches. I explained that after 5 years the graphics on my switches are completely gone, and asked if they carry replacement decals (short of replacing the entire switch). I received the following curt reply from an "applications engineer" at Carling:
CARLING DOES NOT STOCK parts, you will have to contact the Sea doo company
Engineers should have the caps lock key removed from their keyboards. Just sayin.
Bottom line seems to be Carling won't help, and without a MEPS printer or something similar it will be hard to create DIY self-adhesive, pressure-sensitive, white on vinyl decals. If someone had the tech, though, I think there would be a niche market right here for the 20 or so odd emblems used in the SeaDoo switch catalogue.
You can however replace the front cover of the switch. If we had enough people interested, there is a company that will print whatever emblems you want. They are only a few bucks each.
