Stern drive VS. Jet Drive

Boating magazine has published a test between the two.

They pitted a SeaDoo 210 Challenger S featuring a single 255 hp supercharged high-output Rotax jet drive against a Chaparral H2O 19 Sport with a 220 hp MerCruiser sterndrive and put them through their paces.

May be interesting, but this is like comparing a propeller driven airplane against a gas turbine jet. There is really, no comparison. They are two completely different propulsion plants. Hard to compare apples and oranges.

That's just my opinion. And most know, my opinions are always biased toward our Rotax and jet pumps....CHeers!
