Steering Wheel Alignment

After finally getting the chance to try my new boat I noticed that the steering wheel is not stright. When riding stright the wheel is turned to the right about 1/4 of a turn.

The boat only has 18 hrs on it.

Although not a serious issue I would like to have the wheel aligned properly.

My question is should I remove the bolts on the wheel and rotate the wheel to the correct position or attempt to adjust the nozzle at the jet?

thanks in advance

adjust the jet at the rear, pretty easy to do!! just remember that wind and water current can also cause your boat to go in other directions making you over steer to compensate. There are times when using my boat down in Florida I have to really over steer to keep it going straight....water currents can be really crazy especially when the tide is going in or out!!

Thanks for the reply.

I thought that current may have been an issue. I ride up and down a large river most of the time. I do have to over correct in certain areas because of the varying currents.
I have been watching this for a little while in both the river and a large fresh water lake. No matter where I go it seems to be the same.

In saying that I will try it a few more times before I try any adjustments.

I am also going to have my wife keep the wheel stright while on the trailer to see if the nozzle points to the side.

After taking mine out for the first time last weekend I noticd the same thing. When going straight at any speed the wheel is turned 1/4 turn to the right. I also noticed a squeek coming from the wheel when it turned past a certain point, anyone have suggestions on how to get rid of it?
