Hello guys.
I just started fixing my xp 97 modell.
I ordered some parts and soon I want to start it.
I'm wondering where should I atache the water to avoid overheating?
Thank you.

There is a place on the pump where the water exits normally. It has a garden hose thread on the inside and is used to reverse flush the motor. Couple of things to remember when doing this: engine on water on water off engine off in that orderOr you will flood the motor. Also you cannot run it for extended times or you will burn up the carbon seal

To be honest there is really no reason to run on the hose unless you are trying to flush the cooling system. You can run it for up to a minute without water and this will tell you if it runs. After that you need to get it in the water.

Even with the hose, you still can't run it for more than a couple minutes or you will burn up the driveshaft seal.

Yes very true, 30 seconds to a minute won't hurt it, NO longer.
