Does any one out there know how to test these two components to verify if they are good or not. Initially when I tried to start my ski, it cranked for about a half sec. then nothing but a light click. (Battery reads 12.6V) So I removed the cover and cleaned all the connectors in the box and tried it again, and received nothing for my efforts, except now, it doesn't even click. I double checked the manual to ensure that everything was hooked back up properly, and still nothing. I checked the 15 amp fuse and still nothing.

What will the relay and ignition coil test out at if I put the meter to them????

About how much would one cost, and where could I find them quickly?????

Help?

I can do that with my multi meter, right. I just have to see what it reads when I try and start it.

I also have a maintenance light that comes on, but I don't know how to tell what it is for.

Is there a maintenance code for the light?

What can I do if it's pulling too much load when I try and start it.

Thanks for you assistance.

Tested the Load

I load tested it from the battery through the relay (12.5) from the battery through to the starter (12.5) but What should I be getting at the bottom of the ignition coil. Do I still place the black tester wire to the battery, and the red to the bottom bolt (where all the wires are attached) of the ignition coil? Because if so, I only got about 2.5 at that point.

What does this tell me????
