I highly doubt you spinned the enigne enough to flood it with oil or gas doing it by hand. you could have a bad starter or your rings/pistion are scrapping on the cylinder wall.

There is another company call fullbore in MI that will actually rebuild your engine and not give you a different one. Usually they are cheaper, longer warranty, uses named brand parts, and take off the PTO and that for you. If you get your engine in off the season you a few hundred on it and thye add an extra year on the warranty. I have used them for 3 top ends and all came out great.

I just re-read the whole post, it looks to me that you need to, 1) repair the engine you have, 2) buy a re-manufactured engine or, 3) buy a used engine. I'm a little confused by your question. What other help do you want?

Howie99,
Thanks for the info, I will look up Fullbore today and see how much. Being military I didn't gabber time yet to make an emergency fund for my boat, lol.

Lou,
I an going to buy a reman engine from somewhere. The problem is don't have the greenbacks now for that do had a guy come look and he got the pto spinning freely. The problem with the engine was it stopped dead on water and then could not turn the pto by hand. I know its not fixed but thought I may be able to get it to fire since it spins freely. sorry for being such a pain.

You likely have a still have a problem with this engine. One cool thing with twin engine boats is you can use your other engine for comparison or swapping parts to help identify problems.

What you can do is, remove the plugs from both engines, then spin the "Known good" engine and compare how it feels to spinning the problem engine. If they feel the same it could be the starter, but based on your other posts is sounds like a problem with the crank.
