sportster single engine blew up ,what ski engine will work?

My 97 sportster blew up, Is there a upgrade in engine size that will bolt in using my stock 717 electronics? What year n model jetskis engines wilI bolt right in if I bought the whole ski? there definitly dont wqnma go any smaller than the original 717 with dual carbs that were in it thanks again

So a 717 is all i can put in it? If so do you or anyone know what jet ski this motor can be found in for the donor engine year?what years n Models would i find the 717-720? Thanks again,love this site

Okay so I bought a 96 sea doo gti 717 for the motor for my 97 sportster single engine jet boat now that I have a complete ski with thematching electrical and I can use that stuff in my sporter is there any interest from anyone in buying my complete electrical system with the dess key from my 97 sportster 717? Ive seen some of those computers are exspensive is there anyone out there willin to make a fair off on the electrical? Also I notice the gti ski motor is 159 and the boat is a 132 why the different rotary timing can anyone tell me why they are diff thanks guys

Wow the sportster mpem is only worth 200$? Guess i will shelve it for a good emergency spare thanks. Guess ill sell some parts off this 96 gti ski to make Some of my 500$ i paid back for it. Thanks howie i apprieciate the reply��
