I have a 2004 sea-doo Sportster LE DI. The boat was running fine and then the engine started to have some problems and basically die. I took the sparkplugs out and they were totally black. So I knew there was some problems with gas/oil/oxygen. These are the things I did to the boat and the engine still misfires when I'm starting to go out (low speed)
1. Replace fuel injectors
2. Replace air injectors
3. Most O-rings in the fuel system
4. Replace the air pressure piston including the compressor head
5. Replace the air regulator
6. Replace pressure hose
7. Check and clean the reed valves
8. Replace ECU
9. Replace both position sensors and reset them with CAN DO
10. Check the oil pump flow and it was working fine
11. Replace the coil cable along with coils
12. Clean and change all O-rings in the exhaust valve
13. Static pressure is around 30psi
14. Fuel pressure when is idling is between 80-90psi
15. Replace the fuel pump
Notes: When I put new spark plugs the engine starts fine and when I'm trying to take of, you can hear the misfiring and then stops and the boat runs well. After running the boat for 2 or 3 minutes, the spark plugs are totally black again.
Any suggestions to what my next steps should be (besides changing the entire engine) are welcome.
Thank you
