Speedster vs RXT

I have a 2007 RXP which I am selling to get a 3 seater RXT; however, the Speedster has peaked my interest. I have owned several Sea Doo's in the past but never a Sea Doo boat and I don't know much about them.

I have a bass boat that I use ALL the time. I use the Sea Doo on weekends during the day to motor out to the cove and meet up with friends. I also use it to wakeboard and occasionally pull a tube. It is very easy to launch and operate by myself. Would the Speedster be as easy? I launch my bass boat all the time by myself so I am sorta used to it.

The Speedster appeals to me because I could take a few friends and my dog. I would also have a place to get out of the water. Have to bum a spot on a pontoon now.

Possible issues with Speedster....I have 8 foot garage doors (96") and about 20 feet long. It has to fit in the garage.

I am not very mechanical (female). I can do basics like change the spark plugs and install things with instructions (replacing part or carpet, etc) but don't want a fixer upper. Budget is $6000-7000

Should I stick with finding an RTX used or should I consider a Sea Doo boat?

Any feedback would be appreciated!

My 98 Speedster fits in my 20 ft garage. I have to park it turned a little takin up boths sides though. If I bought the swing away tongue it would fit easily in 1 spot. You can read my other posts, but I am very biased to the 98-99 sppedsters. The older 2 stroke motors are very reliable. They are usually well within your price range and 1 person can easily launch and trailer them.

my 95 Sportster 14.5' boat fits great in my garage. I had the same pickle which is what pushed me into the Sea Doo boats. This size of a boat is very manageable by yourself.

I actually fit this boat, a BMW R1200c cruiser motorcycle and a 1982 Jeep CJ7 in my garage, with a large workbench, and the washer and dryer. It's a bit cramped, but not too bad.

I say go for it. It was definitely a really good move on my part. I like having somewhere to float, and hang out.
