Hi everyone,

New to the forum and hoping to find help.

My 2007 speedster 150 215sc won't start. New battery and the fan, bilge, lights and radio come on but no power to the dash. Red light on the start button comes on but nothing else. No beeping with the key in either.

Fuses check out ok and no humming or buzzing from anywhere.

Any ideas? Hoping this is a simple issue...

Thanks!

Has it been run this year or is this coming right out of storage?

Right out of storage. Never had a problem before...

Look for a missing ground wire connected to the battery.

Many skis/boats have a smaller ground that fire up the MPEM which then powers up the start system.

I didn't notice anything but I'll have another look. If all grounds are connected, any other ideas?

Thanks much

If the grounds are all connected, time to bust out the multimeter. Make sure there is power going to the MPEM. Once power is verified, then it's looking at both the DESS post and start button.

Alright I'll start tinkering around tomorrow...here's to hoping its a ground!

Thanks guys
