I purchased a brand new 2010 Speedster 150 (255HP) a couple of months ago (leftover stock). I absolutely love the boat, and have watched the hour meter religiously. Almost to the second when it finally hit 10 hours, I put it on my trailer and took it to my local dealer here in Austin for my 10 hour service.
They performed the service, and I just picked up the boat last night. When I got home I figured I would do a quick check to make sure the battery was still charged. To my amazement, the hour meter now reads 7 hours. I know that sounds impossible, but I am absolutely 100% positive beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was 10 hours when I dropped it off.
Any ideas on how this is possible? Naturally I am a bit concerned, because I don't want other "electronic gremlins" to start visiting. Just thought I would see if anyone has encountered that. I have a 5 year warranty, so I figured I would just take pictures of the hour meter showing "7", keep an eye on it, and if it does anything else that is strange I'll take it back to the dealer to be fixed under warranty. Thx in advance for your thoughts and input!
