I think I have figured it out ! Started with metal shaving in my stator shorting out my mpem and I have had the boat for three years and worked on it for two of them and after I figured it out the shavings in the stator and bt the time I put my engine back in my gas went bad but I didn't know it till the other engine that always worked would not run ! did have a varnish smell when I took it out of the boat ! so my gas went bad I didn' t know it would run but not rev with bad gas !

update , My gas went bad it took me so long to fix and find I had metal shavings in my stator trigger and cap shorting out my 5amp fuse and blowing out 4 mpems ! runs great and sounds good need to test it to make sure but running good tonight .

update got motor running , had bad fuel , first I had been blowing my 5amp fuses and mpems in one of the two engines , finely dug into it found metal shavings in on the stator trigger and timing cap, when I put the motor back in and tried it my gas went bad enough it would not run over 3,300 rpms , new gas and motor sounds great have to test it a little more to make sure it runs a while .
