Hello,
I have a 2020 Spark 900 that I got new two years ago. When I was winterizing it last fall, I noticed that there was oil at the bottom of the hull. Now I removed the top cover to try and see where the oil might be coming from. Unfortunately, The gasket at the bottom of the engine seems to have some oil on it, and the bottom of the engine clearly has oil on it. Does this mean it is leaking at the gasket? I have never worked on a jet ski so I'm not sure what to do next. I also noticed a green piece of paper? sticking out of a joint (see picture). Is this normal? Can this have something to do with the leak? (This is a "new" jet ski that has never been worked on.) Any ideas how I can determine where the leak is coming from? I would really appreciate any help.
John
