Sony marine radios suck!!!!

I bought a new sony marine radio 2 month ago with sony cover shield it drizzled a couple days ago and none of the buttons work. When i got home i read online that sony marine radios cannot in any get wet. How can they this a marine radio. This is a warning to anyone buying sony radios for marine use. Buy clarion!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking for a new radio for the boat as the OEM is all static most of the time.
Would an antenna is some way help that problem?

I just replaced mine with a Kenwood marine radio one of my buddy's used to do instilation jobs on the big expensive boats and he recommended Kenwood I guess they hold up fairly good in the elements. So far so good I guess time will tell. Sony seems to be junk these days. Sorry to hear it craped out on you so soon!
