Short carb cable location

Reinstalling carbs after correcting sticky throttle problem. That it turns out was the throttle shaft had burred up where it sits in the carb. A little polishing and the throttle no longer sticks. The problem is there is a short (4-5") cable attached to the same external plate that the throttle cable attaches to and I can't seem to find what it runs to. Missed it when I took them off and it popped loose on it's own. Anyone help please ?

It's probably the oil pump cable. Make sure there's tension on that short cable when you re-install the the throttle cable or the engine won't get oil. Not a good thing. Given this is almost a month old, I hope you figured it out.
