:hat:Further to my starting problems which I considered a new battery fixed. I took my speedster to the river and both engines started, however, as I pushed my lever to go forward, both engines cut out and would not start again. I checked my new plugs and they were sparking, the plugs also were wet with fuel!!! After approximately 2 hours of cranking the engines they both fired but would not idle on their own. I took the boat out of the water, I had half a tank of gas and took it to a gas station and topped the fuel tank tp full. I suspected my fuel had aged during the winter period and was the cause. I started the engines and after a few minutes they both started and idled. I spent a day and a half on the river and the boat ran fine. Now I am home, I tried to start the engines before putting it back in the garage, and again both engines would not start. I am down to nearly half a tank again. Should I syphon the old fuel out and put it in my van, then top it up or can I get away with just topping my boat tank up again and try to dilute the old fuel so that eventually I will have new fuel. If I have to drain the boat fuel tank, what is the easiest way to drain the old fuel out. Advice please on this problem. I believe I should have put a fuel stabiliser in when I winterised the boat!!! Thanks Hornet 13:hat:
