Hi, I was out on the water this weekend and the port side motor started to lose RPM's while the other motor was running fine. This happen over an hour or so of running the RPM's just kept getting lower and lower. When running sometimes the would shoot back up to normal and then drop back off agian. It was also hard to start. I tried to start it yesterday and it would not run it would almost start just for a second or two. Replaced plugs and they are getting fire. The plugs are not wet with fuel from tring to start. Could this be a fuel pump or filter problem any idea's?
Thanks Kent

Fist of all..... NEVER continue to run a 2-stroke engine, if you are loosing RPM, or suspect a fuel issue. The fuel is how the oil transports into the engien. SO... no fuel... No oil.

Knowing that... I would start with a compression check. I'm guessing that you bunt out the top-end.

If it checks (150 is spec) then I would look for a leak in the feed fuel lines. I would also clean the carbs, and replace any filters.
