Greetings all!

I have a 04 Sportster 155 and I installed a dual battery set with the help of posts on the awesome forum. I have identical group 24 deep cycle/stater batteries but when I move the switch from 1 to 2 and try to start the boat all I get is a click-a click-a click-a sound (no beep errors when I connect the DESS). Switch back to battery 1 and the boat fires up immediately. I have tried moving battery 2 to tray 1 and the boat fires right up again so I know battery 2 can start the boat. Could someone please point me towards the next step for trouble shooting this? Thank you in advance for your time.

Check the cables and connections... If they are poor, you will not get the volts/amps you need and it will go CLICK..
