Hey All,

I searched but can't seem to find what I am looking for.

I have a 2012 Speedster 150 (260) which the stitching has let go on some of the seats. My dealer is warrantying the seats for me, and are shipping them down to me as they are 2 hours away.

I need to remove the current seat backs. Is there a trick to it? Also, any idea where I can find a copy of the service manual for the 2012?

Thanks!

The seat back is held in place with two plastic darts and a metal clip that hooks into the plastic back of the seat. Proper way to remove is pull the seat back out from the bottom where the two darts hold on each side careful not to pull too far or you will break the plastic seat back where the metal clip is at the top of the seat. Once the darts are out you can slide the seat back straight up and lift off. You will need new darts to reinstall the seat. They are about $6.00 each. As far as a manual you can find them on ebay or other on-line sites.

Sometimes you can reuse the old seat darts if you can get them out without breaking them. As far as the 2012 manual, if you cannot find them on this site then you can just download an older one and use that until a newer one is posted. Not a whole lot has changed in these boats over the last few years.
