Seadoo Xp Di Charging problems.

Sorry about the english but im from norway.

I was out riding my jet last friday then sudenly i got Buzzer code 7 and waring light, a massage in the display saying (12 V Low maint!) the higest rpm i got was about 4500, so i took it back home to find out of the problem.
I used a multimeter found out that it's not charging the battery (The battery is new and there is nothing rong with it). I got a brand new rectifier/regulator and replaced it, still it isent chargin. i checked all the fuses and the fuse in the Electrical box and thay are all good.

Can it be the Generating coil??? If so how do i test this??
Could it be somthing else?

Low Battery

I am going thru the same thing right now. Replaced rectifier yesterday did not fix the problem. Spoke with a mechanic he says sounds like bad Stator on my 2001 GTX

Well let's hope someone can help us on this

It's not fun when thing like this happen right in the middel of the summer. hoping to get this fixed fast as possible so i can hitt the lake again.

If the Stator is dead how do i measure this?

Well i found the problem When i connected rectifier/regulator one of the pin's popped out. got it reconnected and now it's woorking perfectly :hurray: 13,5 volt charging the battery.
