Hi...my question is.... I have a 2002 GTI LE and I cant' get it to turn on, It wants to turn on but it just keeps on rebbing...I replaced the battery and the plugs it seems like theirs not enough gas going through to get the engine started please help....

Hook up a plug tester and crank. You MUST have a blue spark. I struggled with the lawnmower yesterday. Dumped gas, got shocked trying to test for power to the plug, cranked like a maniac, found the tester and got a blue spark so I kept on cranking. Later on, I took a plug from somewhere else and it worked. You see, this plug was brand new so I never thought it could be bad.

It works!!!

Hi again thanks to timmyboy76 and aklim, once I put gas in the spark plug holes the engine started up and kept on running again thank you..... I have a different question know that I took care of that I saw a small hole in a part which I don't know the name but heres a picture. I need to know if I have to replace that part or can it be fix and how any replys will be greatly appreciated.

JB weld

Well can use some JB Weld that would probably be about the easiest and quickest and its a bout $4 for a stick of it. Just clean the area and apply.

You are better off getting it welded. JB weld will only be temporary.

Better go with welding!

Welding would be the best and it could welded as long as there isn't much rust. What does the metal look like?

Welding

Do you guys know what type of material that part is made of? I'm going to have it welded but don't know the name of the Part? or the material its made out of? Thank you guys in advance and sorry for the dumb ?s

need to "tig" weld it...its aluminum, but VERY THIN...you could run, thin coats of JB-weld, apply 4-5 times, but after you've prept the hole (remove some of the paint)

Make sure your welder doesn't just weld up the hole. He must cut out the plug & weld in a thicker one.
