Seadoo Spx 657cc 1995 compression loss

So last august I was riding and lost compression. So this year I tore it down bought a new rebuild kit brought my cylinders home and put it all back together and I have the exact same compassion as before. What could be causing me to lose compression? TIA

So you had the cylinders bored, installed new pistons and rings, and still have low compression? Are you using a Harbor Freight gauge by any chance? They have been selling defective gauges for a few years now, and they all read super low... Just a possibility to throw out there.

I had them honed, and there is a possibility but it doesn’t run that good either
