Engines are the Bombardier 2-stroke. When I start the engines and revs in neutral position they go to approx 4000 rpms. When put the gear in forward the right engines revs up to 7000(like normal). The left engines does not rev beyond 4000 rpms and behaves like it was in neutral position but is not. Does any one have a solution to this.

Thanks in advance.

check the switch in lever assy. You'll have to remove the assy from boat, look under it, you'll see a switch/s, probably stick'n...

Are there two switches in the dual engine boats?
Also, are there two mpem's one per motor, or does it use a different mpem? I'm thinking that there is one switch that feeds two inputs... but it is still worth pulling out the control levers to look at the switch. You can also try to bypass the switch temporarily and see if you can then rev up properly.
Good luck!

A quick check before you go pull it apart: since the same switch is used to tell the mpem if its in neutral for starting purposes, try starting each motor with the shifter in forward. If one starts and the other doesn't, its definately related to the switch, the wiring, or the mpem.
