Seadoo PWC- leaving in non salt water

How long can you leave a 4 Tec Seadoo in the non salt water. I mean will it hurt the Seadoo?

I'm sure water will find it's self in somehow. Not to mention muskrats and algae. Muskrats have already had a nice snack on the GPS cable on the boat, and on the reverse scoop on my GTX.

Seadoo recommends you do not leave any model seadoo in the water for any extended amount of time. Overnight is even too long.
