I have a Seadoo alignment tool that has been in my basement for over 20 years. I used it 2 times when I had to replace the engines and pumps in my old 97 XP and 99 XPL. I know the tool worked and was perfectly straight as I was meticulous in getting the shims perfect on my engines.
I can't recall if this is a Seadoo actual tool or an SBT tool but the quality is high and the steel is in perfect condition after 20+ years.
The box got wet once when my AC pump overflowed so do not want to ship in this box condition even though it seems to be fairly strong still. The parts were all covered and protected and never got wet over the years. Basement was low humidity and there are no signs of rust on any of the metal parts.
I live in Red Hook, Dutchess County NY but will travel to meet someone that is not excessively far from me to meet near a border possibly.
The tool is for two strokes only as far as I know since I bought it probably around 2005 or so... I used it on my 787 and 951 engines. What specific models it will work with is up to you to decide but it defintely worked on the models I listed at the top.
I am thinking $200 since the pictures show that it is still in perfect condition. I know it has never been dropped or mishandled since I have been the only one to ever use it. If no takers after a while I may drop the price but may also not be willing to meet at a border line.
I drive between Red Hook, NY and Frederick, MD quite often via NJ or PA routes so if you are near these pathways I can also meet you.
