Hello everyone

my problem was that the jet was working fine out of the water rpm went to 7000
but in the water it got only to 3200 rpm. i have read that it could be a fuel problem and decided to try to clean the carburetor.

took off my carburetor and found a lot of dirt in them with oil like gum cleaned it all now

there a 2 bolts on the outer side of the carburetor , on one side the letter H and the other side is a T bolt

how many times i need to circle the bolt for the spec of the carburetor of my seadoo GSX 1996 787 engine ?

i got confused from the information on this site and the you-tubes iv watched .

found this

GSX
787
270500284
270500285
BN-40I (SB)
MAIN-142.5 PILOT-70
1.5
270500267
23 - 43

LOW- 1 HIGH- (MAG-0 PTO-1/2)

what does it mean that the T BOLT should circle 1 time and the H BOLT 0 or 1/2 ?

It means you bottom them out, screw them all the way in and then turn it out one complete turn from fully closed

Let me ask you this before you even start this.... Do you still have the grey tempo fuel lines?

We need a sticky on these grey fuel lines!

i have replaced them all and added a fuel filter before the carb just to make sure no dirt will ever get in again ....

so the H bolt need to be fully closed right , how can it be no fuel will pass . also read here this
" Turning the screw clockwise reduces fuel flow, counter clockwise increases fuel flow. The maximum fuel flow is achieved at three turns out from closed. "

That is the specs from the manufacture. The H speed adjust is set fully closed and the low is set to 1.

They designed it like that so that it's hard to lean it out on the top end and destroy your engine by running lean
