Hello, my name is Paul. I have a problem with the boat he gets a top speed of 42 mph . In my boat has a mercury engine OPTIMAX 200 Superjet, and must be installed Mercury 240 EFI. Tachometer in my boat does not work, so I do not know what it is gaining momentum. With this engine, what should be the maximum speed? Tell me where to find the reason?

A few things first....

1) This is a Mercury engine, so it should be in the Mer section. (i'll move it for you)

2) It's a "Sportjet" drive. A "SuperJet" was something Yamaha makes.

OK.... on to your issues.

Without knowing your RPM's... we don't even know where to start. 42 mph is a little slow for that boat, but not too bad. Also... the stock speedo is known to be wrong, so how did you measure that speed? So... double check the speed with a GPS, and get a working tach. From there... we can have a point to work.

Yes, I made a mistake in my motor boat has 200 mercury sport jet. The maximum speed I measured by your phone gps. Speedometer in a boat is not installed from the factory.

The boat does not operate a system of smart kraft mercury. In my boat almost no one device does not work. Past owners only put the main engine system is not set up. It works only temperature sensor and oil level sensor.

ok.

But we still need to know the RPM's to know where the problem is. If the RPM's are low... we will have to figure out why. (engine related) If the RPM's are ok, then we have to figure out why the boat is a little slow. (pump related)

Without that information, it's impossible to know from my side of the computer.

You can get a mechanic's tach that can clip to a spark plug wire. OR, you can get a "Tiny Tach" that also connects to a spark plug wire, and was meant to be a tach for a jetski (small, battery powered gauge)

The dashboard lives his life. How can I fix the panel? I want to have my everything worked. Please tell me what to do to make it work.
After this correction, I know how much my boat develops speed tachometer.
The engine in the boat mercury 200 HP sport jet.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at in the video. I can see the gauges, but I don't hear an engine or wind noise to know if you are moving or not.

It's kind of like your original question... I simply don't have enough information to know where to start.

Have you checked for power? Have you checked any of the wires? Are they all dead?
