:( Well it was a sad day today, I guess we're through with boating until spring. I winterized the boat, took it to the lake, put it on the lift and covered her up.

Tomorrow I'm winterizing the SeaDoo's, except the 96GSX just in case we get one or two nice days. :(

Bummer.

I spent My day buying 8 quarts of oil for November, planning a beach run for Sunday, a river run for Wednesday, confirmed plans to tow the ski to orlando next Saturday to ride the lake and visit the Hyrdrodrags sunday. Also confirmed that in two weeks we'll visit Ski alley. I'm actually exhausted from all this planning.

you northerners really have it bad man !

I took my skis to the shop 2 weeks ago... and finally winterized them last Monday. Then... Monday night, I winterized the boat. They were calling for temps to hit freezing mid week, and I didn't want to break something in the fresh water system. (I don't think I can get to the hoses in the hull)

Oh well.... hopefully the weather will hold out for a few weeks, so I can fly RC junk.

OK, OK You don't have to rub it in. :)
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy 2 one gallon jugs instead of 8 quarts?

Ski, boat, and sprinkler system all winterized, and all hoses, paddleboat put away.....just waiting for Monday (54 degrees) to do the deck stuff. :(

normally yes, but the yamalube was on sale for the Qts.. buy 3 get 1 free, so I bought their last 4, normally i'd just buy 2 gallons at a time. I haven't found a source for dealer cost on yamalube, which is kind of a bummer, I got a good deal on amsoil, and just renewed my membership, and my ski is so dam thirsty, i'm REALLY going thru oil fast now.

anyways, I really feel for you guys, we're making ride plans 3-4 weeks in advance right now.

it is a little cooler come winter, guess its ginger brandy time, or jello shots instead if beer

I'm winterizing both of mine either the 31st or the 1st...

I was PRAYING for a warm day but it just isn't happening...

We had a hard freeze the other day, need to winterize mine tomorrow. It's been sitting in the unheated garage so hopefully should still be ok

Yep, it was 27 degrees here this morning. Problem here is were far enough north to have a real winter, but too far south to have winter sports. So winters are really boring. It's just cold with little or no snow.

Winterized my boat and the marina hauled it out 2 weeks ago. Boat was shrink wrapped last week. Winterized both skis last weekend. Put the skis and cars in storage yesterday. Time to start projects in the house.
