RXDI warning light stays on

Hey guys,
The red warning light on my '02 RXDI went on today and stayed on. It is not flashing, nor did a message come up on my digital screen. The strange thing is that the red light stays on even when I remove the key and shut it off. It ran perfectly fine with no hint of a malfunction. I disconnected the battery and reset the computer...the light still goes on. Any ideas? My PWC mechanic said that if there was a system malfunction the light would have flashed and the "service engine soon" message would have popped up on the digital display. Thanks.

It sounds like a sensor is bad on either the fuel or temp. Check the connections.

Sorry it took me a while to get the results to you guys, but the light went off and the mechanic did not find any errors when he hooked my ski up to the computer. Also, how do you reset the computer? Ive done it before but I have since forgotten. Something along the lines of holding the SET button for 10 seconds after you start up the ski.... Anyone know?
