RV Antifreeze - grass killer?

I used about 4 gallons of that RV pink anitfreeze (Travelers?) on my skis to winterize. Tried to capture some and reuse as I was doing it but that didn't work all that well.
Did it at the edge of my driveway on the lawn and it was all over the place by the time I finished. Washed it all down with water but not sure how the grass will like it. I thought it said biodegradeable but I threw the containers out.

How bad of a grass killer is this stuff when diluted with the hose. It is nowhere near as bad on the driveway as auto antifreeze that eats my blacktop away pretty quickly.

You'll find out. LOL
The first winter I owned the skis I tried running them to get the coolant circulating. All it did was made a mess. :D Now if I do winterize I just pour straight anti-freeze into a few places. Doesn't get really cold around these parts. I don't think many people in South Louisiana winterize the skis.

I guess I'll know if I end up with another hugh dead spot. This is the first time in 30 years I ever used antifreeze in my 2 strokes in NY. I always them on a steep slop in the yard when covered and done for the year.

I've never heard of coolant killing grass. But depending on the coolant type, a spoon full or so of it swallowed can be lethal to humans, not many people are aware of that.

This was the first year I’ve used the Winter Proof Marine antifreeze, I normally use the Winter Proof RV antifreeze. I was out mulching up the leaves last week and noticed some yellow spots on the lawn, took me a bit of time but then it came to me, that’s where I winterized the 3 seadoo’s that got used this season.

Wonder if it kills dollar weed. :D :D

I hope not, I thought this stuff was supposed to be biodegradable, it’s possible those marks on the lawn are from a leaking out drive, boat is sold now. I guess I’m going to need to hook these machines up to the flush port before taking them out next year. I will pay more attention to exact location when I’m winterizing next fall. I’m interested to see if this stuff does in fact kill the grass now
